Born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Daniel's path as an artist began with an African mask he painted in elementary school that received artistic acclaim and planted the seed of painting in his heart. Philadelphia is a city well known for its rich artistic environment and he quickly evolved creating many Afro-centric works including wood carvings and other sculptures into the early 70's.

In 1975 he relocated to New York City and soon began painting with acrylics until he was moved to experiment with Chinese inks. Daniel rapidly progressed in this new found media, selling scores of paintings in New York City's West Village to clients from all over the world followed by successful showings at numerous art galleries.

His present interest is in painting contemporary Wall Art for residential and corporate environments, in various sizes up to 6 feet by 9 feet. He prefers colored inks as the foundation for all his work and his inspiration continues to stem from a desire to express and share subjective beauty. His work conveys marvelous movements of harmonious energy that are both wonderful to sense, as well as to see.

He feels blessed and thankful for his ability to create wonderful art that moves his soul...and the souls of others.
