And since artists' representatives do the negotiations for you, it might be the case that your representative will boost your compensation by 25 percent or more over what you may have been able to negotiate on your own.

The cost of the representative to you is zero, and it represents a source of income when clients (publishers, for instance) buy the rights to use your work (authors and illustrators).

There is no fee for our services until a buyer for your product is found. Then a commission is given to the agent.
